You may not use, copy, distribute any of the images published on OneSpotter.com for any purpose without prior permission of the copyright holder. You must own the copyright, or have permission from the copyright holder for all images you upload to our resource.
  • 1.2. By uploading a photo author grants OneSpotter.com the right to publish this photo on OneSpotter.com and associated social media pages.
  • 1.3. Our database is completely opened resource. All uploaded images will be indexed by search engines and have public access.
  • 1.4. Service is not intended for storing images not closely related to aviation matter. Main subject of all photographs must be an aircraft.
  • 1.5. All images are subject to moderation. If an image is rejected it will not appear on the web-site and might be removed from service.
  • 1.6. Approved image could be still hidden from aircraft info page if we already have another photo made from the same location on the same day or if an image has poor quality.
  • 1.7. Moderators can change tail numbers specified during upload process in case they don't match with depicted on the photo aircrafts.
  • 1.8. Uploaded image must be a JPEG file with a minimum resolution of 1280x860 pixels. Maximum file size is limited to 20MB. All photos must have landscape aspect ratio between 1 (1:1) and 2 (4:2).
  • 1.9. Approved by moderator photos automatically appear on the pages of this web-site. OneSpotter.com is a public service.
  • 1.10. Any images found to breach these terms and conditions will be removed with no warning. Anyone who uploads an image that violates our terms may be banned from using this website with no prior notice. In the case of violation of our terms, we may share any information we hold on the user concerned with any interested third parties. If you believe one of our members breaches our terms and conditions please contact us so we could take approriate actions.
  • 1.11. The most common reasons for a photo to be reject include but are not limited to:
    • Underexposed photo
    • Overexposed photo
    • Incorrect white balance
    • Digital noise
    • Not leveled horizon
    • Blurry lines
    • Too many adjustments
    • Aircraft is not the main subject, it's too far or located in a corner of the photo
    • Poor quality
    • People faces on the photo
    • Text applied to the photo (dates, names, etc)
    • Aircraft has no tail number
    It's up to moderators to waive some of those rules during the approval process, for example when there is a rare aircraft is displayed on the photo.
